Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic medicine is a primary health care profession that integrates both new research and old healing methods. Focused on using the body’s own ability to heal itself, Naturopathic doctors can look at the physical, environmental, lifestyle, mental, emotional, and spiritual related aspects of each unique individual to understand and treat the source of an illness or discomfort.

Naturopathic Medicine Philosophy

- First, do no harm
- Support the inherent healing processes of the body
- Identify and treat the root cause of disease
- Treat the whole person
- Teach so that there is an understanding of health and self care
- Focus on prevention and health promotion
